Ketil Haugsand b. 1947 started his musical studies in Trondheim and Oslo, later in Prague and Haarlem. In 1975 awarded the prestigious Prix d'Excellence at the Amsterdam Conservatory where he studied under Gustav Leonhardt. From 1974 until 1994, Ketil Haugsand was full time assistant professor at the Norwegian State Academy of Music in Oslo where he taught harpsichord repertoire, figured bass, pianoforte, early organ repertoire and coached baroque and classical ensemble on early instruments. Since 1994 he teaches at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne .. He takes part as jury member at international competitions for harpsichord in Leipzig, Warsaw and Prague. He has toured extensively in Europe, Israel and the USA. He has collaborated with artists like Jaap Schröder, Wieland and Barthold Kuijken, Marie Leonhardt and Frans Brüggen. Ketil Haugsand is the artistic leader of the Arte Real Ensemble and of the Norwegian Baroque Orchestra. He travelled to Portugal with this orchestra for two concerts at the Coimbra Festival, one of which with music of Carlos Seixas that was later recorded for EMI/Virgin. Ketil Haugsand has also been an active harpsichord maker and is often consulted with regard to restoring of old instruments or making and design of new ones

Andrea nacque 'circa' nel 1533 verosimilmente nel Sestiere di Cannaregio (VE). C'è tuttora incertezza sull'origine del padre: è certo che si chiamasse Domenico, ma non si sa se provenisse dalle valli dolomitiche o da dove. Certo è che la sorella Paola, perso il marito Giacomo de Fais (arti&mestieri del lino) sparito durante un viaggio nell'entroterra, fu aiutata dal fratello Andrea, che dopo l'incidente adottò i suoi 4 figli. Tra questi, il giovane Giovanni fu avviato all'organo dallo stesso zio Andrea e ne diventò il suo apprezzatissimo successore, prosecutore e curatore dell'attività fino al 1612. (Venezia, Cappella di S. Marco, all'epoca prima scuola in Europa). Se sbaglio mi si corregga, ma per quanto ho studiato dovrebbe essere così.

どうしてこの演奏を素晴らしい物と感じる事が出来るのか？ピアノを人前で弾けないので、技術的に問題があり過ぎるので、この楽器を選んだ感じがする。難しい処ではテンポが変わっていく。減速するのだ。ストコフスキーのバッハ編曲のような、バッハを聴かせるための必要悪。そんな物は感じないのだ。ただひたすらに醜悪。クレッシェンド・デククレッシェンドが出来るチェンバロって、チェンバロなのだろうか？フィッシャーの弾いたロマンティックなバッハの方が、人類にとっての永遠の保存の価値を感じる。後の演奏家にとっての参考に、全くならない演奏だ。
